Fishing St. Helens today

Multnomah Channel, Brownbrown water at mill.
Sand Island, east side NO BEACH, sand bluffs at water line, water is browngreen.
N. end of Sand Island you can see the demarcation of the mud where the Willamette dumps into the Columbia. Anchored outgoing tide. Did not see or hear of any joy in the neighborhood. The Columbia was so full of logs, stumps it was impossible to relax while pushing debris away from boat & anchor line. Multnomah Chan. had wood flowing, but did not see any full logs.

I hope the water gets better
The new boat gose on its maden voyage Friday.
The thought of wood in the water makes me cringe

You might as well get the the dings, scratches and blood out of the way on the maiden voyage! It make the subsequent trips a little less stressfull :grin: :grin:

Thanks for the report Dogrobber. We are planning an overnighter on Sand Island 26 and 27 April. I hope we can get a report from you the 25 as to what the River looks like.
