If you were a fish......
OK I admit I'm just bored and there’s not much "catch" talk out there. so If you were a fish (salmon) what would be your bait/lure of choice?
I've decided Alvins would be painful...just the thought of chomping on a piece of metal seems like it would hurt (one) your teeth, and (two) the roof of your mouth.
So I think a nice glob of eggs would be my choice for bait....
and for a lure - hell I’ve invested so much in kwik fish, I’d be doing myself a disservice not to pick them.... Michael Jackson w/ green hot tail ... Never thought those words would come out of my mouth...

OK wetaline, I'll bite
If i were a salmon, the bait I'd want would be a nice fat juicy herring....as for hardware...I think a big gold spin-glo.

Re: If you were a fish......
I'd smack a pink prawn behind a gold blade. Or a big blue/silver jointed rapala...

Re: If you were a fish......
Wet
If I were a fish prawns (pink) would be my bait of choice. As for this season's special lure I wouldn't really know because I have yet to see a salmon on the end of my line, even though people in the same boat as me have put me to shame. I think it might be bad JUJU after I threw back a squaw fish during winter steelhead season. However, traditionally the green bill/ sivler body has been a personal favorite of mine. I still think the cop car will pull through before the end of the season.

If I were a Salmon, I would chase down the Sea Lions and bite em in the butt. And then a Drunken Stripper from www.wigglefin.com would sound like a tasty treat.

What I want to know.... If you were a salmon, with these water conditions.... Where would you be?

If I were a salmon in these water conditions, I would be sitting on a beach in the Caribbean sipping on a beer waiting for the water to clear.
