Default 10,000 Mile Springer Trip

Tomorrow morning I'll start out on a 10,000 mile springer trip. Last year I caught my first springer so I'm a novice now rather than a rookie. Yes,they are definitely worth the trip.
The journey starts off easy enough with a 30 minute helicopter flight followed by 700 miles in a 9 passenger turbo prop. After hanging around Mumbai for half a day, I catch a 10 hour 15 minute(4263 mile) midnight flight to Amsterdam. I spend an hour at the airport then get on a 10 1/2 hour (4887 mile)flight to Seattle. I'll arrive home Friday afternoon and Sunday evening I'll be on my way to the Columbia to fish for Springers. I'm sure that my wife will understand. I hope that all of you professional springer killers leave a few for me to have a chance at. I'll be fishing out of Kalama in a 16' aluminum run-a-bout with white sides and a PSA sticker. Eventually there will be an Ifish sticker along side. I really want to catch a Springer.

Are you coming home from serving overseas?

May you catch many, many fish... I know I've left some for you

Scott, I'll be down there on sunday. I'll try to remember to send you a report. Same spot we fished last year should produce, as well as about 300 yards upstream.

I will never again complain about the 1 1/2 hour drive to my favorite river. Your'e journey is almost as bad as the Springers is to get home.
