Default Smelt dipping from boat
Anyone ever run their boat up the Cowlitz and dip smelt other than the commercials? Any help on this topic would be helpful. Thanks

Yes, this is a good way to get into them as they have been running a few feet offshore. A jet or small outboard is best if your coming from the mouth as it gets real shallow.
