Default Wind river (friday)

on thr water by 5:45 am. About 30 boats at sunrise. the talk by 7:30am one fish was caught. didn't see it but was told about 15-18 pound. 8:15 am a rod in my boat goes off. after a tensnse momoment when the weighted net failed to open fish on board. 28.5 buck, lots of sea lice, which ended a two year dry spell for a close friend. fished until about 4:00 pm. had one other bump on a plug cut. at final count thru word of mouth comm. 10 fish for about 35 boats. was in contact with a guy at drano all day his report was one caught out of a boat and one off shore.
as far as marking fish at the wind very few and far between. most of the fish were caught at the east end of the bouy line. heard of nothing along the shore towards the old cabin. Saw Fear No Fish boat one 10-12 pound. water was up about 12".
we fished four rods with mag warts of diffrent color. hot pink was the one that hooked up and one rod with plug cut that one getting a bump. water was kind of merky with chartu. green mag being the most use but with very little avail.

I was there Thursday morning with the drift boat. Only saw one fish caught by 9am, so we slithered off to bank fish below bonneville. It gets wet out there without a top. HT

thanks for the offer ampersat, but I'm running Ifish decals on both sides on my boat and one on the rear window of my surb. fear no fish was the only other boat I saw running a decal. wonder what the biggest Ifish fish is so far, I would have guessed 30-32 pound on the fish we boated, However the delier scaled at 28.5. I should check it? O'well nothing but filets in the freezer now.
Our local river looks like Chocolate milk.
