Re: Siletz River Home For Sale
This is a beautiful home and my son and I have admired it many times as we floated by. I should have bought a lottery ticket for tonight . SG

Re: Siletz River Home For Sale
Free Bump.
I'm a realtor in Depoe Bay so I know about all the homes in the area that are on the market. This is truly a one of a kind home. If I had the means, it would already be sold.

Re: Siletz River Home For Sale
It is really a cool house...and wow! what a location!
It is really too bad that they have to move. It seems like every time they build a really cool house, my uncles job has them on the move. They are headed to Grants Pass this time. The first house they built was a gorgeous log home on Klamath Lake. Same deal, a couple years after they (finally) get it done, they had to move.
The Siletz house has a ton of thoughtful touches for the fisherman/outdoors person. There is a cook room, outside (closed on 3 sides) to boil crab, process fish, smoke fish, BBQ etc. The shop had enough room for their camper, 21' sled, 18' duck boat, & Clacka drifter, with a storage loft for dekes, a man room in back for the tackle making, cigar smoking, etc. The shop even has a built on covered dog run.
Oh, yeah you can ask Amerman, Grant or anyone else that floats the Siletz how good the hole is right in front of their house! On good days you can watch Salmon & Steelhead run the riffle (I won't tell you the route they ALWAYS take).
If you can't tell...I am going to miss this place almost as much as they are.

Re: Siletz River Home For Sale
Sounds beautiful but out of our price range - saying we could even sell our home in this real estate market - good luck
