Default A fun filled day on the river

I went for a boat ride with Dave Johnson on Monday. We hooked 7 steelhead and boated 6,
plus we boated two suckers, and their canoe! They dumped their canoe about a mile
downstream of the Barton boat launch :depressed: . When we came up to them they were shivering in their
underwear on the SW bank . We drooped them off at the Barton boat ramp and then tried to start fishing again. About a mile below where we picked up the castaways we found their canoe upside down in an eddy. Got the canoe to shore and drained then we tied it to a tree and tried to start fishing again. Just as we started down river the canoe owner showed up in a 17' sled looking for his canoe. We gave him their wallets and every thing worked out. THEY WERE LUCKY!

Thanks to David for giving me an enjoyable day on the beautiful Clackamas River and putting up with my handicap.  The weather was perfect too.
