Razor clam report
Went razor clamming on sat. in Gearheart with excellent success. Arrived about 1 1/2 hours before low (only about +.5') and dug four limits in about 30-40 mins. They were thick and it was an absolute blast, like memories from many years past. Our success may have been aided by a very calm surf which allowed us to get close to the ocean eventhough it was only a +.5'. We could have dug an easy limit in tennis shoes and stayed dry! It was a great family outing for my 4 year old, "get em dad! get em!" and boy do they taste fine. Happy fishing!
