Today I fished C.J. Strike Reservoir, here in southern Idaho. I hooked 2 Sturgeon, landed one. The fish I lost broke my line (50 lb), then proceeded to jump twice. Estimates from my fishing partner were that it was an honest 7 footer. The one I boated was 5 foot+. Windier than heck, made determining the bite a little tough. We came up with a couple of rules for fishing today.
1) When strugeon fishing, always load a few nightcrawlers on the hook before you put your other bait on.
2) Walmart sandwiches taste really good, once you douse them with eel juice.
