Default Columbia Commercial Salmon

Ok, so what are all of the policics involved that let the Commercial Fishing take place inland. I mean are there not enough Salmon in the ocean for them or what. Why can't we leave the sportsmen the rivers? I know someone is going to argue that it brings money into Oregon. However, what kind of money would be brought in by having a huge salmon run. Not only that but the revenue would be more likely to stay in Oregon and not go to California and abroad. Any thoughts?

I read a letter post a couple years ago to the senator complaning about ratios. What will it take to actually MAKE changes?

it`s going to take another ballot like I-696 to get them out of the water, but this time direct it at only commercial salmon fishing. until we can all ban together as one and get it done, nothing will change.
