Bankie Brings in Big Fish
Hey all-
Just got to school from an unnamed river. My morning was incredible. Just before I left, I had a First Cast Pink n' White beader floating in front of me and it did the disappearing act. Took me about fifteen minutes to get the brute up near the bank where I could hold it still to fiddle out the jig. Nearest I could tell w/o pulling it all the way out of the water it was about 38-40 in. long and probably like 20 wide...not postive of these numbers, but either way, a Beeg FEeesh!!! The rush is still in me. I love fish like that. Sorry no pics, but i fish by my lonesome usually, and hardly think it fair to such a fish to do the handling it takes for one man to take the picture. Besides, I haven't taken enough student loans to get me a digi. Anyway, just wanted to share the elation...It was spectacular. Hope you all are having equally wonderful days!!

Congrats on a big fish. The only thing better than catching them is seeing them swim off unharmed. Nice job.

Re: Bankie Brings in Big Fish
Congrats!!! A suggestion, carry a disposible camera that has a flash. Stick in your fishing box, bag or what you use to carry stuff with. They are cheap enough and still take decent pics. I have an old SLR that needs a tuneup, but disposible will do for now. judyfish99

Re: Bankie Brings in Big Fish
Judy-
I do have a regular flash cam, but not the scanner I'd need to scan a regular pic onto my comp to post it. 2ndly, I wouldn't try the juggling needed to take a pic of a nate when by myself...trust me that regardless with a fish that size it's tough enough to just get it on it's way without handling it too much or pulling it out. Thank for the suggestion though!! :-)

Re: Bankie Brings in Big Fish
Good Job! It is always better to fish than to go to school.
Where do you go to school? Are you in college or high school? If you're at OSU I can help you scan regular photos for upload.

fishnpray-
Congratulations! Getting a big one by your lonesome. No pics necessary, you've got the best picture in your mind. Thanks for treating the fish respectfully and sharing your experience.

Re: Bankie Brings in Big Fish
T.T.-
Thanks for the offer! For better or worse, I'm a WU student, so it'd be a bit of a drive just to scan, though, probably worth it if I had a nice pic of a nice feesh. We should dunk some lines together sometime though, as students have something to complain about together between bites.. :-) I am mobile and can meet you somewhere to fish sometime. I'll PM this to you anyhow.
