Default Lake Billy Chinook Marina

I heard from a not so reliable source that the marina was no longer open at Lake Billy Chinook. I am not trying to start rumors, was just wondering if anyone can verify it is still open. I tried calling a few times and got no answer.

Great family who runs it and I love their customer service. I hope my information is not true.

The contract was up for review this spring and was awarded to the guy that runs the marina at 3 rivers. They are currently in transition but will be up an running with "New ownership" soon.

So is the marina at 3 Rivers accessable to the public or is it's use only for members of the 3 Rivers association?

Interesting that I live here and have no idea as to the answer to that question, I know that they have a pretty impressive dock system across from Chinook Island and you can rent houseboats from there, but I have only used the Crooked River, Deschutes and Perry South launch points. Their website is http://www.lakebillychinook.com/index.html

You can access it from the water, but you would need a guest pass to get through the front gate. The latter requires you knowing a land owner. Of course if you rent a house boat you get a pass as well.
