Heard from a friend who is renting a cabin at the resort that the Forest Service ramp is plowed. Not sure about the parking area as cell phone strength up there is poor. No fish reports, but since Springers are done, might go and check it out. By the way, my partner who gave me the report, has a 28# hanging in the lodge.

2.0 mph has worked well for me and the Browns are 2.5 - 3.2

I think we have some wrong info being shared here. The resort does not open till the weekend of the 21st. I have that info straight from Jennee the owners daughter. Thats the mack derby weekend and the historical opening of the resort at Cultus.

My partner, Mike Balloun (a Bend area contractor), knows Dan and Sandy (the owners) personally, and rents a cabin there every May. Probably the resort is not open (the restaurant) But the report on the forest service ramp is accurate.

Update from Jennee this evening: (I know Dan and Sandee quite well also), they do have 1 cabin rented and are opening this weekend officially, a week earlier than normal. The boat ramp has NOT been plowed, but it is accessable due to people driving on the snow and packing it down and you are able to launch.

Might add Mike might have been taking a nap when he caught that big one hanging in the lodge
