Ifish Fly Fisher's Cap
Ifish has a cap:
and Salty Dogs have their own cap.
What about the Ifish Fly Fishers?
There was a suggestion floated around the Fly Fishing forum a few years ago about our own hat, but it never happened. I am willing to do the necessary work this summer to get it done.
What I want now are some suggestions on what the design should be. The text should be “Ifish” and “Fly Fishers”. Where should the text be located?
The graphic design could be a fly fisherman casting, a fly fisherman landing a fish or just a fly.
What are your thoughts?

Great idea.
How about featuring one of the many beautiful flies I see pictured on here from time to time? These guys are true artists.

Re: Ifish Fly Fisher's Cap
I also agree this is a great idea. How about the top rocker I-Fish and the bottom rocker Fly Fisher with the suggestion of a fly in the middle. Or you could put fly fisher on the back.

Re: Ifish Fly Fisher's Cap
What about posing a grip end of a fly rod/reel and a fly with 'ifish.net' across the top and 'flyfishers' across the bottom?
And pins for each monthly contest win?

Re: Ifish Fly Fisher's Cap
Great idea Andy. Personally I am a fan of "clean" hats. By that I mena not to cluttered with text and or photos. I like the pictcure of a fly idea and maybe we could incorporate some text in to the back of the hat? This way you can have all the requirements (Ifish and Flyfishers) and not have to try and fit them in to one spot. Just an idea...
If we do choose a fly, we should put up a post to figure out which one. Could be fun.

Re: Ifish Fly Fisher's Cap
I would wear one as long as it is a drab color; my lucky fishing hat used to be orange until I noticed that fish take off when they see it. Very non scientific findings here, but that is my observations. Also, if it could be the trucker style that would be cool being Summer and all.

I like the Idea of the trucker hat with a fly, fly line and Ifish flyfish logo.

Re: Ifish Fly Fisher's Cap
I think we should have some sort of contest to decide what fly to use. Everyone could post a pic of their best work and we could make Jennie choose one.

Okay, I'll bite: what's a "trucker" hat?

Re: Ifish Fly Fisher's Cap
The new style trucker caps do not have the cloth foam front like the older ones do, I have one from Simms that is real nice; I have seen one from Sage and others as well. It is just nice in the Summer time, the main advantage is the mesh back. I would like a regular cotton one as well, the regular cap would be more versatile.

Re: Ifish Fly Fisher's Cap
The only problem (if it is a problem) with a mesh back is everything will need to be on the front of the hat.
