Anyone been there before? And more importantly, anywhere close by to soak a line? we are going there this weekend and the crew would like to try to catch a few fish. Any suggestions? TIA

I guess thatis the $64,000 question...isn't it. Since we are staying there, I would prefer (read my wife) to be within 1hr or less. Funny-I think of nothing leaving PDX area at 3:30am to go to Astoria in Aug, but need to be fairly close on this one. Go figure. Thanks for the help.
