Where to buys hoochies near Eugene...
Dicks- zero; BI-Mart - Zero. Anybody know where to pick up hoochies, or mini-hoochies, and spinnered hoochies in Eugene. Both stores carry a few 2"+ sizes... thinking too large for Kokes. Thanks Guys !!

Thanks, that was going to be my first call this morning. I saw the Anglers West show on Sat. that showed the Koke tourney from last year at Green Peter. Thanks for the help!

Shasta Tackle website is good, 2" hoochies seem to work just fine (I tied up some of the 2.5" p-lines to try soon) and option three, look a little further down the shelf at the above mentioned stores, Crappie tubes make nice hoochies.

Re: Where to buys hoochies near Eugene...
You might try 2 Bros in Eugene, Oregon Rod, Reel, and Tackle in Coburg, Hoy's Hardware in Sweet Home, as well as M2 sports in Lebanon. I have found kokanee tackle from R&K spinners as well as other manufacturers at these stores. DanDee Sales in Sweet Home has some Shasta Tackle and Mack's Lure kokanee tackle as well. Good luck in your search.

Well, thank you all for the suggestions. Ive picked up nearly a years supply at 2 BROS., they were very helpful and convinced my wife that I needed a good couple of dozen to last until the new Cabellas opens up. I figure the couple of dozen should last at least thru this weekend.

There always seems to be a few hanging around Haydens bridge drinking beer and swimming in Springfield during the summer.

Cabela's is working on getting a line of 1.5 inch hoochies for Kokanee, as well as great size for placing on small spinners for Silvers!!!

Re: Where to buys hoochies near Eugene...
If your headed to GP stop at Lakeside Market at the bottom of the hill. We keep him supplied with hoochies, wedding rings, jigs, and some few other things for kokanee. All the hoochies and some of the wedding rings are double hooked for better results

Re: Where to buys hoochies near Eugene...
If you're going to fish Green Peter you can't get better hoochies for that lake than R&K hoochies. I found that out the last trip to GP. Rob lives in Sweet Home and fishes GP and knows what works. I just asked him to pick out ones that he would use and ship them to me. Great customer service as I had them the next day and no charge for shipping. The white w/pink ends out fished everything else. Rob, if you read this thanks again for great C.S...............Wayne

Cabela's expects to open the Springfield store in early spring of 2011. The 58,000-square-foot store will anchor the west side of Gateway Mall at 3000 Gateway Street in retail space previously occupied by Ashley Furniture. It will be Cabela's first retail store in Oregon.
