Could you Pray for my wife and kids please
My wife lost our baby boy friday. She was 20 weeks pregnant. She had some complications early in her pregnancy and we we knew that this might be the outcome but it still didn't come easy for my wife and duaghters. They are taking it very hard.
I would like to thank the nurses and doctors up at OHSU for all that they did for my wife while she was in the hospital. They where very kind and very compassionate. They shed many a tear with me and my wife.
It's been hard for me to stay strong for my family. Sometimes its tough being dad.

Good thoughts and Prayers for you both, It's a very tough thing to go through. We had a similar loss too almost 20 years ago and it still hurts . But what made us feel a tiny bit better was our priests words that " my wife and I have our own little guardian angel next to us always" . Travis is always with us and your little one is with you always. God Bless

Never experienced such a tragedy but I can tell there are being tears shed by those who have responded. My heart goes out to all of you good dads and moms. I guess there is always a reason but we're not at the level to understand the whys.

You are all in my prayers. My heart just aches for you. I have been blessed with 22 years with my little boy and I worry about what a loss that would be... but your wife didn't even get one year with her baby. I'm just so sorry. Can't imagine how that must feel.

I agree.. i showed this thread to my wife and she was taken back by how many people cared about her even though they have never met her... It made her feel better that people care about us and where praying for us.

Just a quick update... My wife went to the doctor this past Thursday. She just wasn't feeling right....well God has his ways.. We found out that she is pregnant. We are both scared to death and so happy.

Me and my wife lost one on Christmas day in 2001, she was right at twenty two weeks it was very hard to overcome but we did and now have two wonderful boys one is four and one is two. Though I say overcome you will never forget for the rest of your lives I know from experience so prayers to you and your family on this tragic loss .

my wife spent the weekend in the hospital due to a kidny infection. She is better and the baby is fine. Baby is 18 weeks as of today. We go in next monday for a ultrasound to find out what we are having. since we have 3 girls i am saying we are having another girl my wife is praying for a boy...

Been there Mark. 20 years ago this year we lost our first. We had three kids right away afterwards. True gifts.
I was really happy for a boy! Two girls are great but......

I can't wait tell we can get past week 20. Then maybe my wife can relax and not worry about every little thing. She has been so strong through all of this. I have to thank God for making her such a strong woman.
On a happy note the baby has been kicking her like crazy. It's a very active baby.

Wife had her ultrasound today and the doctor said our little baby girl looked normal. So all is well... Thank God . It was a real relief for my wife. She really wanted a boy since we have 3 girls at home but God had other plans and blessed us with our 4th girl . Another Daddy's little Princess...
