Default first time aboard!

How's the finishing been around St. Helens? Had a buddy head out there this week, haven't heard back from him yet. Where abouts do you fish around St. Helens? I mainly do the upper Columbia, around Washougal and the Springer bar when it opens. Always looking for a good war story.

Welcome aboard Pescano!
The same tech for the Washougal area should work at St Helens but I think people troll more down at St. Helens. There are several lanches the most poular being at Scapoose bay marina (I think that is what it is called). There are also launches all up and down the channel. But it is only about 15 miles down river from Portland so putting in at the Kelly point area launches is not bad if you have a good running boat and the water is not to choppy. If you are banking it the beach area bellow warior rock on the end of S.I. is a fine spot to plunk. Good luck!
