The best time to fish is ... when you can.
So I was out before the crack o' dawn today. The river is pretty brown, visibility maybe a foot.
Not much pressure anywhere except the mouth of the Clack.
Dragged a herring-wrapped K-14 around Lake Oswego area and the eddy below Goat Island
(across from Meldrum - how many Sand Islands and Goat Islands are there ?).
No action had or seen, but the boat, she floats, and zoom-zoom - first time out this year.
Met the friendly sheriff patrol, they actually wanted to see my tag! I passed the test :smile:
