Fished the river today, landed my first springer in my own boat. I feel like a proud papa, 18lb chrome brite hen. God I love springer fishing

Details, ok, plug cut herring, 43.4 degree green water, off the tip of coon island. Only saw 3 other fish caught for about 30 boats. It was great day the sun was shining and the fish bit my herring. I was very nervous I thought the guy I was with might knock her off with the net, but he did a great job. Guess I should take customers fishing more often.
