It is open from Skyline on Mt. Hood. The lake is fishing decent but is low... its filling up now.

Thanks 5-Cent. I went up yesterday and me and the girlfriend caught quite a few between 10-12 inches. Caught on an assortment of of Blue Foxes, Wedding Rings, Flat Fish and Power Bait. From what one of the park rangers said, we did better than most. He did not think they stocked it yet. Nothing big and all rainbows.

5-Cent, you need to go back up to within the next week and tell me what the fish are biting on. Last years report was excellent and I caught some nice fish using your methods. I am going in two weeks so I need a report soon. Thanks

Is there a ramp up there with a dock where a 20' boat could be put in. I haven't been up there in years and back then I had a smaller boat and didn't care about a ramp. Bigger boat and little kids so a different story now.

I used the first ramp I came to and you could easily put a 20' boat in. I did not see any boat docks around the lake, but did see a couple boats in that size range up there yesterday.

There is not any docks, but most of the ramps will handle a 20' boat easily. beaches are all sand/mud, in a few spots you can tie up with out beaching depending on how much water you draw.
