Some of the campgrounds at Odell will be closed to clear storm damaged trees. Sunset Cove CG and boat launch will be closed until May 7. Princess Creek CG will be open through May 9 then will close from May 10-30. Trapper Creek CG will be closed until June 4. Closure dates are dependent on weather. Call Crescent Ranger District 541-433-3200.

I can't believe it takes three weeks to clean up Princess Crk. I haven't seen it this year, but I'll bet that I, my son and one of his buddies could have everything on the ground and out of the way in less than half the time. MB.

I just got off the phone with the forest service and it looks like Princess Creek will be open for Memorial weekend camping. The lady I spoke with today is going over there tomorrow with the logging crew to verify it and then they will update everyone as to when it will be open.
She also told me that they are going to close it on July 7th so that they can completely renovate the boat ramp, docks, and parking. It will be able to hold more trucks similar to Sunset Cove.

Thanks for checking in with the FS, Larry G. Something I probably should've done first. I plan on being up there June 4th thru the 10th. Anyone know if they've got fresh water now? Seems like the last time I camped up there the spring was not hooked up to the water system. Thanks. MB.

Not a problem! They dont have water yet. Hopefully when they put in the new ramp and docks they will add water.
