Default Anyone seen shad yet?

With the early arrival of the smelt runs, I would expect to be seeing some shad at Coon Island right about now. Anyone seen any yet?

Usually don't start seeing shad till around the first to middle of April.

I saw a whole bunch of shad today......in my freezer from last year. It's to early for shad but I can't wait for there arrival.

The counts over Bonneville don't become significant until mid to late May.
