Nice looking fishie! Slow days make the fish you do catch taste better (that is if you eat them)...

Might be a good place for another get together?

Must of been a bit warmer as your not totally bundle up.

Nice fish try to save one for us as my brother and I will be there first thing in the morning. Are the Kokanee schooled up deep or have they started to scatter???

Still schooled up deep. There are some starting to scatter about, but it's still pretty cold. 41-42 degrees.

Keep hammering that lake I know of a guy who caught some huge browns out of there. Suttle is a great lake.

camped at Link Creek campground last Thurs-Sunday. NO FISH FROM THE BOAT. marked some schools hanging out at 30-35 ft in 60ft of water. most on the eastern side of the lake. Did manage to catch some nice browns from the bank. Also a surprise my buddy managed to catch a BROOKIE and a WHITEFISH! I can understand the brookie beings that camp is so close to LINK creek. but a whitefish?

I'd call the whitefish less rare than the brookie, or the occassional rainbow.

Ok thanks. was thinking about heading up tomorrow but may wait another week. two years ago it was great fishing about this time, hoping this year is another good cycle we'll see...
