Help Wanted, I think......
Let's just say I earned a 5 day trip to fish anywhere from Mexico to Alaska. The only catch is, the boss likes to catch more than fish. My preference would be large fish (NO BASS). So...any ideas?????

That was cruel Pete, I have all but given up on the winterchickens. They're just going home early with a fresh blonde hairdo. That's enough justice for me. Next year however??????

Re: Help Wanted, I think......
I have heard that the largest amount of large fish could be caught out at Sitka AK. Both large kings & halibut can be caught with ease. Supposedly the location of Sitka offers the most fish????

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">Probably don't want to get into too remote of a location If I understand that part correctly. Close to a bigger city might help with this part.

Sitka is a top producer in Alaska for both numbers and size. It has open water and protected. Great town with shopping, but not real big.

Kenai river and Homer, AK 3rd week of July. Took a 56 pound king and 120 pound butt there 4 years ago not to mention massive numbers of chrome sockeye. Good luck when you go!

Re: Help Wanted, I think......
Langara Lodge on Langara Island, BC. Around mid-June. Three of us caught 30 Chinooks to 35 lbs in two days (early June) last year and then fished for Halibut for a day and a half, but it was a little early. Caught lots of nice bottom fish to boot. Great accomodations and food. Saw a 70 lb Chinook taken. Advertized as the "best salmon fishing in the world". Unbelieveable scenery. Could have water skied on the Pacific the last two days. Killer and Humpback whales, Stellar Sealions, Otters, and the Bald Eagles were like pigeons. Fish out of their well equipped 18' boats, or get a guide and fish a little bigger one. Your choice.
