Default Help!

Looking for bitting Sturgeon for a Guest I have down from Alaska. I would love for this guy to catch a keeper. The last few times out it was pretty slow though. Bluffs? Kelly Point? Powerlines? Where have you been having sucess? If you dont mind helping a guy out.

Hey Bobberdown,

I'm guessing you want to stay close to Portland. I fished the Trojan Hole near St. Helens on Friday and Saturday last weekend and saw very few fish caught and heard of no keepers.

We did well at kelly Point last Friday the bite picked up right around the tide change and was still hot when we left around 3:30. We were in the p bowl and we were one of the boats in the hot slot. Get out there and wait for the bite to pick up and jockey for a spot.

Neal..the stretch between the St. Johns Bridge and the Columbia was reported to me to have been productive last Sunday. Also last Saturday, well I guess two Saturday's ago, we saw a boat get about an 8 footer above Milwaukie on the Willamette. E-Mail me if you want their location.

P.S....Now's also a good time to try herring(if you can find it) for sturgeon too.
