Hot Sink on 9.9 Mercury 4 stroke

Does anybody know if they make a kit to pull water for a hot water sink on a 9.9 Mercury 4 stroke or is it something that I need to take in and have done at Stevens? I would like to do it myself if it is an easy process and I can just buy a kit. I would like to leave the above water visual stream untouched and pull the water from a different spot all while keeping my warranty.

This may/may not help. I had a custom order in 08 for a 18 intruder, 200 sport jet. The 9.9 big foot kicker has the hot stink connected to it. Stevens did it, unknown if they have a kit. The pee port still has water flowing out of the motor when using the hot stink. I was warned not to open the valve fully into the hot stink because the engine would be running to cold. The sink fills quick enough with the valve about 1/3 open.

Steven's Marine will plumb one for you (about $100) and can mfg/weld the hot sink for $150 (you get to pick the shape that will fit your boat).

I asked about in the middle of March. Call the parts & service counter and ask...

There was a guy on Meanchicken that was making adapters for T-8's, maybe the Merc's also.
