Verio/
Just a note on our past troubles from Verio:
We have not seen any drop outs on our graphing of data traffic to the Net
backbone since late yesterday afternoon.
Our graphing shows 5 minute intervals; therefore, we only see events that
are longer than 5 minutes.
Normally we don't share information this specific, but the difficulties
were trying for all of us.

================================================== =====
Hello!
This is a message to let you know of an outage
that recently occurred on the Verio router to
which you are connected.
This outage was due to an emergency maintenance
about which we, unfortunately, were not able to
notify you in time.
This maintenance was essential to Verio's overall
network health, and we thank you for your patience
while we made necessary upgrades to the system.
================================================== ====
Following this msg. we have not observed connectivity issues.
Both Qwest and Verio worked on solving this problem. Initially Qwest
indicated that it appeared to be in their Portland central office. When
the dust settled it appears that the problem was at Verio's facility. My
apologies to Qwest for hammering them, even though they provided the
initial information. When events this disruptive occur we attempt to
provide the best available information because we believe you deserve to
know what we know.
Most of the calls we received were very understanding. We appreciate that.
Thanks again for your patience,
