Default wanna see some nice Kokanee?

No, these are not from oregon, wallawa . etc. This my my buddy LeadBaron, he does not post much. Every year he fishes with hi bro who lives near Flaming Gorge. Look at the size of these toads. These are just average fish for them. The dark red fish is on the big side though. He said it cut just fine.
enjoy!

I believe flaming gorge is a reservoir in Utah and that is where he was referencing.

Red face Re: wanna see some nice Kokanee?

Those are some darn nice fish!

I am definitely looking forward to fishing the Flaming Gorge this summer. I have an invite to fish with Jared Johnson and having never fished the Gorge before, I am like a kid the night before opening day. Can't sleep without dreams of huge fish, the sound of a rod going off like it has a Chinook yanking on it with powerful head shakes. Too bad it is going to be awhile, my wife is getting kind of tired of me sitting bolt-upright in bed gasping for breath with a panicked look on my face: the fish throws the hook at the net

Up to this point, the fish I have brought to the boat fall into the two to three pound range and then usually in the warmer weather. I am ready for some warmer weather; warmer weather will bring on some larger fish and soon the braggin will begin.

Not that I would brag or anything like that...
