Fly across the inlet and try the top one for silvers on the Kustatan..........BIG FUN!!!!!

An egg sucking leech in that color was awesome up there on a fly rod for me. The faster you striped it, the better. The jig should work also.

Great looking jigs. Now if you need additional help "test driving" them, I'm volunteering

Makes me want to take up tying those things!

Willow...
Man, you've been coming up with some awesome creations lately!
Forget chum, steelies will attack your second jig to no avail. I tie a very similar jig to that and have found it very successful for winter steelhead.
The first one would be killer for summer fish over here.
I hope to see some more of your creations soon!

Default Some Jig Ideas (PICS)

Here are a couple of jigs for everyone to try.

The first one is my standard (searching) go-to jig when chasing big bows in the Kenai and Mat-Su areas. Basically a modified purple egg sucking leach. This thing has great movement on the water and is bomb proof.

The second one is based on an idea from Steelymann. I tied this up using my favorite colors for Chum Salmon. I love chasing after chums with jigs and this one should be big medicine for chasing the Dogs. Here is the recipe if you want to try one:

Hook – 1/0 Owner (Make sure you use a strong hooks when chasing Chum)
Bead – 11/32”
Tail – Flour. Chart. Micro glo-bug yarn and Flour. Chart. Schlappan.
Body – Flour. Pink Ice Chenille
Legs – Flour. Orange round rubber
Thread – GX2 for attaching the bead and Flour. Pink for the head.

I hope you enjoy these.
