I am taking the wife to Hood River tomorrow to pick up some pre-production, lighted, K-13's. I have a friend who is their lure engineer. We have conversed over the last 4 years about the whole concept. I like to think I had a small part in the development of that lure. From there we are checking into Skamania Lodge for the night and will be partaking in their Seafood buffet. [img]graemlins/hearton.gif[/img] :tongue:

Their Lox is killer. They put pine needles on it for seasoning. not kidding. But then-again, I like caviar once in a while.

The museum there is kind of cool.

Bonneville is just down the road for sturgeon from the bank.

Drive over the bridge of the gods and take a right on the highway to get to the Oregon side of the dam. You might get lucky and see the catapolt launching fishermen's bait into the river.

Dont forget about the hot tub!! that one outside is the size of a normal pool and perfect for the post meal soak.

If any of you guys want to impress your wife, take her to Dolce Skamania Lodge! This place is truly unbelievable. We ate at their Seafood buffet on Friday night, after checking in earlier that day. I swear I suffered my first STOMACHGASM! The best meal that I have indulged in, in a very long time. I got up this morning and was able to put in 45 minutes on the stairmaster, in their workout room. Also hit the weights. The jacuzzi looks out on the Columbia River! Too cool. After Springer season, my sweetie wants to go back for more pampering!
