Verio/Qwest update for ifishaholics
A follow up conversation with Qwest at 9am provided the following:
1. "the problem" may be at either Qwest or Verio. They do know it is with
the Portland end of our connection to Verio
2. Qwest has been working with Verio through the night and this morning to
find the specific cause
3. We do know that it is NOT at Qwest's Seaside central office or Seasurf
equipment
4. Seasurf is not the only business experiencing difficulties (no
satisfaction there) because our data feed is part of a much larger
connection to Verio
5. Qwest has placed an analyzer on the larger circuit in an effort to
identify the source
In the mean time, grab a cigarette and coffee, and call your support system...Or welcome a new member by grabbing a Cigar!
