Default spell checker?

Help me out, please. I'm using IE 6.0 and can't find a spell checker. I go back and forth to MS word to check my spelling. Is there something I am missing and or could a checker be installed on the BB?

Type the entire response in MS Word. Then copy and paste onto IE for posting.

Copy and paste shortcut

In this order, in Word, press:

Ctrl +A selects all text
Ctrl+C copies all selected text

Then in IE press

Ctrl+V pastes text to cursor location

Any other questions just ask…

We used to have a spell checker, but it displayed someone elses logo, and it brought up a new page. Took forever to load, then the people sponsoring it, quit, so UBB has no spell checker at this point.

Jennie,

I, too, am sometimes embarrassed at both the spelling and the grammar posted by some of the ifish "responders". Do you have the ability or desire to pre-screen the messages? If you do have this ability, it might upgrade your already interesting site.

Please forgive all of us who embarass you.
I generally do not respond to posts such as yours, but it irritated me for some reason. We are not all perfect like some people iam aware of.

I hav to agre with som of the above possts. Smelling dont count none. We all know what we mean to spel and dats good nough for us fishers.

Besides it is not my ability to spell. I have the smarts for most of that. I never mis-spell my words, but my typing sucks and that is where the problem comes in. My fingers just wont let me do it rite.

Welll I have to agree with all of the above. If we get it close that should be good enough for even the intelectuals on this site.

It's not my spelling that I have a problem with, it my fingers, they just don't type what I am spelling.

WoW, kinda sorry I even asked. So much hostility.
All I wanted to do was check my spelling before I posted.

Kaus,
Don't feel bad about asking for a spell checker. And yes there is a little hostility in some posts.
One in particular got my dander up because it was a slam to persons who may have a spelling problem and they can't help that. We all make mistakes when we post. My fingers are sometimes faster than my brain and i have to go back and make corrections. I just don't think we should critize someone because of a mistake in how they spell a word.
