It was slow below Boneville last weekend. Things change however. I moved all around until my anchor puller upper told me to do it myself!

Went to St. Helens area on Saturday, 8 shakers, no keepers. I didn't see one fish boated there. Sunday went just outside of Troutdale. Got 13 shakers and a nice 45.5". Got it on the slack tide using fresh smelt wrapped with nightcrawler. Below the power lines on the Oregon side. Checked his stomach and it was totally empty. This one's scuts were pretty worn so he/she must have been in the system for a while. Nice fish though, fought like the dickens, headed straight for the channel once he/she figured it out. Made stirfry and baked sturgeon with Chipotle/Cilantro toppings. Out of this world.
