Default Kicker Fuel line length

OK, dumb question, but for a kicker, can I extend the fuel line, upstream of the bulb so that I can put the gas tank for a kicker under the front shelf of my DB?
Seems to me it should work. The run is horizontal.
Thanks

Should work fine, if it starves for fuel you may have to shorten it up

I put my tank under the rowing seat on the floor (I screwed four small pieces of angle to the floor board so it doesn't move around. I run my fuel line under the seat to the gunnel, tie wrap along the underside of the gunnel to the back and leave enough extra line to allow for the kicker to fully turn side to side. I don't have a lot of storage in my DB so I need to use the area in the bow for gear.

Will work without a doubt. The only thing to consider is that it will take longer to hand pump fuel to the motor with the added hose length. It works fine and has been done to many of our duck boats around here. Happy hose clamping
