Important Rule change for sturgeon

We have had this in our local paper and signs will be posted along the Columbia shortly.

Emergency regulation change:

For the Columbia River from Bonneville Dam downstream to the mouth (including Youngs Bay).

Effective March 1 - May 13, 2002

Retention of sturgeon prohibited on Sundays and Mondays.

Effective July 25 - September 30, 2002

Retention of sturgeon prohibited 7 days per week.

Catch and release allowed during non-retention periods.
