Went fishing with my father and two sons and had a blast fishing. We headed up to Lake Almanor and boated 69 browns in 2 1/2 days. My son Luke, caught his PB brown trout that weighed 7 pounds. He is only seven years old and is already becoming a fine little angler. On the last day Luke drove my boat the whole day and kept putting us on fish. He was weaving in and out of moor bouys just like a champ. If you can't already tell I am one proud father. This trip is what fishing is all about. I started to forget the reasons I was fishing for. Our biggest fish of the trip was two 7 pounders but we did manage a lot in 5 pound fish.
WOW! Sixty-nine browns in 2 1/2 days of fishing? That's fantastic! And some lunkers too? Sounds like that little guy is one heckuva trout hunter. When's he starting his guide business?
