Default What do you think about Bait Butter?

About a month ago I was going out sturgeon fishing and there were no fresh sand shrimp available. I decided to go look for a scent to use as plan B. I saw Bait Butter and noticed it came in sand shrimp flavor. I read that it was 100% ground sand shrimp. I thought hmmm....I'll give it a try. I put a little glob on the dacron where it is wrapped around the hook(snelled). I was amazed at how well it clung to the hook. That stuff just doesn't come off. Anyway, I was using it in combination with smelt and I caught several fish. I have used it several times since then and always caught fish. However, not any more than my buddy who WASN'T using any. I noticed that there is several different scents. I'm curious about others' experiences with this stuff. Any other uses for this stuff? Is it worth using or is it garbage? Any thoughts?

The bait butter has been around for a while now, I have used some when fishing on a friend boat. You are right it stays on the hooks well how ever don't get any on the blades of you spinners it will change the way they work. I can say I have seen people catch fish with it and I have caught a few using it.
