Default contest = slow server?

Hi Jennie,

Never met you in person -- but I looked at the Sportsmen's show.
Right when you announced the contest - I think your server got really slow -- although I only see a few replies. Maybe it's on my end?

Keep up the good work.

NO KIDDING!
I think it is because I did some maintenance today, and the board is rebuilding the cache.
FRUSTRATING!
I thought it was just ME!

You know what?
I'm wondering if everyone was just hitting refresh until the contest came up and maybe we flooded the server?
Guess I won't do that again!

Yep -- I'll bet it was the refresh key. Those speed contests are killer. Maybe try the radio station "9th caller" method? -- That wouldn't work either. Selected at random? I can't think of any good ideas - but the contest is short enough that it doesn't matter in the long run.

I guess I better get back to work anyway...
