Lightly used willy boat launch?
I usually launch at Rogers Landing in Newberg BUT...
I replaced the distributor, lower unit and had a link n sync done on the old Merc at the end of last season, and I'm concerned I may need to adjust the carb mixture, idle, etc. once I get it in the water. Since that's a busy ramp, I don't want to inconvenience anyone.
Can you recommend a less busy launch on the Willy between (or close to) Tigard or Newberg?
Thanks,
Scott

Well, looks like I'll be at Rogers tomorrow morning. Apologies in advance from the guy in the beige trihull!

Just launch and tie it to the back side of the dock.
As long as your out of the way, you can spend all the time you want fine tuning it.
Do not expect to do it on the trailer.

Thanks HnF - that's what I wound up doing. Got her running good and spent a solid 5 hours chasing bass around behind and around ash island. Got skunked, even with my lucky craw with a bobber. But I got a little sun and had a great time.

I would've expected ya to find something around Ash.
Oh well, ya got the boat running good. That alone makes the day.

I live in Newberg, so anytime that you have an open seat, shoot me a PM.

I don,t know if Cedar Island is close to you--it is me--and I don't see too much traffic there. Upstream nav. is ltd. by the falls at OC, but there's some good bassin' in that stretch.

Try Hebb Park next time, this time of year it's desolate, and it's free for registered boats. Good smallie fishing in the rocks downriver.

Thanks Tar Heel and Bearcat! When the water hits 50, I'm going to try out both of those places.
