Went out and fished for a few hours in the Willamette. No luck. Didn't see any caught.

Didn't fish today, but I bumped into a guy at Fisherman's in OC at about 1:30 that had just weighed a 26 lb Springer. Said he caught it from the bank at the Blacktop that morning. It was a very nice fish and I was very jealous.
