Beautiful day on the Clackamas Saturday.. Invited Spooled to join Pops and I for the day. Started at 9:00. Lots of trout bites but not a lot of takers.

Move up a couple of holes and popped a shrimp on a sandshimp. I just got through commenting that "well we have pushed these fish down to the tailout and we should have a fish on at any time:" Booooomm! Spooled yells out fish on! Pops and I quickly real up while Spooled recieves a Spankin from a hot summer run steelhead that is just as chrome as can be. Ran us clear back into the tail out. Darn near to the rapids before Pops netted the Hot fishy.

Fish were interested in the shrimp and not the eggs.

I'M SORRY BUT TROUT FISHING ISN'T OPEN AT THIS TIME AND A SEVEN INCHER IS'NT ANYTHING I WOULD POST ON THE BOARD LET ALONE A PICTURE OF. :tongue:

Way to go Spooled. :grin: Nice to know that Bernie took a fisherman in his boat again. Those trout can be a real kick when they hit the shrimp. :shocked: Did anyont try the eggs with a short leader?
It was really a nice day to be out and wish I could have seen how it's done. Mayvbe if I start watching Roland Martin I can learn sometning.

Oh David,"the eggs"? come on bro, that tired egg cure of yours puts those fish to sleep. The line accidently hits them in the mouth and boy are they surprised. "The Egg Cure" hummmmffff! They sure did'nt wan't those Ammermans on Saturday. Did'nt even get a snif. Even tried a couple of injections without success. Shrimp was the ticket.

Bird boy, quit your whinning son. You can take all the pictures of us you want a F 4 with our limits of springers.. We will also take pictures of you and your full bait tray and empty fish box. Muuuhaaaahahahahahahha!
