Default B.A.S.S. in Oregon?

I'm not a bass fisherman at all, but I do enjoy watching the B.A.S.S. tournys on ESPN.

I've heard so much about how great the bass fishing can been on the Big C and John Day and was wondering if you guys think it'd be feasible to have a tournament in Oregon. Or even on another lake in the state.

Not sure how you'd bass fisherman would feel about this, but I was always kinda wondering and thought I'd ask.

So what do you think?

What I meant was a tournament that brings the "big" names I see on TV. Skeet Reese, KVD, Mike Iaconelli... etc.

I have heard rumors of a B.A.S.S. tourney coming to the Big-C, but never from any reliable sources.

They do have an FLW tour event on the Columbia every year. That tour is on the same level as B.A.S.S. as far as I know.

Wow! I've never heard that there is an FLW stop up here. I might need to get some info and check it out.

Thanks!

BASS did come out here a few times a while back but at the end of the day what it comes down to is lack of money. There's just not a enough people out here willing to enter to make it doable anymore. They aren't even drawing 100 pros in cali I believe. Hell its hard enough to draw 40 boats for a local tourney. Back east bass is all there is basically where as salmon and steelhead are at the forefront out here. Just go to your local tackle shop and you can see that. Were pretty lucky flw still comes.

That FLW Tourney out of Tri-Cities, WA. is a good one. A stop on the National Guard tour. Grand prize is $100,000. You put a 100k grand prize anywhere and I can guarantee you, they will come.
