F4 Woodland, WA Accomodations
Here is some info of possible value to those planning to stay in the Woodland, WA area during Flotilla 4:
Motels in the Woodland area include the Best Inn (360-225-6548), Best Western (225-1000), Hansen's Motel (225-7018), Lakeside Motel (225-8240), The Lewis River Inn (225-6257) and the Scandia Motel (225-7860).
For fresh bait in that area, try Fisherman's Depot, just east of Woodland on the North side of the Lewis (225-9900).

What about RV sites or camp-grounds in the area. Is Kamp Kalama too far away.

Re: F4 Woodland, WA Accomodations
If anyone wants to tent camp it is allowed on sand island. The island has chemical toilets and picnic tables and it's FREE!

Re: F4 Woodland, WA Accomodations
Shleprock, now there's a soggie idea. Tent camping on the columbia in April.. Bet there are open spaces. Just up the Lewis a short distance is a place called Perking Ferry boat launch and I believe they have some camp sites too. The family that runs it provides some security for your trucks and trailers as they live on site. I do not know the cost for camping but to launch is three bucks or so. It's a short run to the mouth and into the Columbia. You should be able to drive any size rv into their area. Looks like a lot of room.

Re: F4 Woodland, WA Accomodations
There's also is a nice RV campground right across from Sand Island on the WA shore.
Head west through Woodland, any of the roads, it's about 3-4 miles north of the Lewis mouth.
Gravel pads/parking, good beach access.
Anyone for a bonfire?

Thumper has a bachelor pad. He would have to deflate all of his blow up dolls and stash his girlie mags. Of course he might also have horse illustrated! Touche! EnGarde, Pussycat!
