Seafoam?
I am just wondering if anyone has used Seafoam in their trucks, outboards, lawmowers, chainsaws etc...
Is it a good product? What do you think about it?

Re: Seafoam?
I used it before ethenol fuel came on the market. It worked to clear up a rough running carberators in both cars and boats. Now I use Marine Stabil to treat my tanks.

Re: Seafoam?
I use it, it works great. It will clean out a carb, clean out carbon and about anything else.

Re: Seafoam?
Outstanding product!
I use it whenever I buy a used car with a lot of miles.
Works great to free up chattery lifters, clears up Idle Air Control valves, cleans carbs, combustion chambers and intake valves- the list goes on.

Re: Seafoam?
I do it right before I swap spark plugs every 30K on my Tacoma. I run ~1/2 of the bottle thru a vacuum line into the engine. It smokes like crazy, but within a few miles it's running smoother than before.

Re: Seafoam?
It's the only fuel additive I've used that made a noticeable improvement. One vehicle was an '89 Ford fuel injected 460. The other was in a friend's carbureted Nissan Sentra. Both had minor drive-ability issues that were corrected by Seafoam in the fuel.

Re: Seafoam?
I''ve been running it in my outboard tanks and lawn mowers the past couple of years. Zero carb or starting issues. It is a gas stabilizer and keeps the carb from getting gummy.

Re: Seafoam?
love it!
i've used it with NOTICABLE improvement on my suburban (added to the oil and the fuel); my 454 GMC 1-ton, and my 200hp Mercury outboard (1991).
the only additive i recommend.
