'bout the only thing your probable to catch is stocker trout. there is left over steelhead in there too, but your likely only to see 'em jumping every once in a while. Most of the time fishing is pretty good. Some times your bait hardly hits the water before you have a fish on. I was up there last friday and caught 6 in about 5 hours. that's a pretty slow day for that lake.
As far as what to use and tactics, I only caught fish on the bottom with power bait. I'm sure worms will work, and I know power eggs and salmon eggs work. When fishing power bait/eggs think bright. I did best on Fl. Orange, Fl. red, and sherbet.
Boat fishing usually produces more fish and less snags, though a boat is not necessary because there is a trail all the way around the lake. It's not the best trail but it's a place to walk. keep in mind that it is small lake. In fact if it weren't for the upper part I'd consider it a pond, so don't be draggin' a 20'er up there.
Now, that I've typed way more than intended and gave away all my secrets to my favorite place

, I need to search for a new one.
