Default Live Wells on Aluminums..?

For you guys with all the high end aluminums ( north rivers/hewes/ducksworth/rogues, etc)

What are you guys using for live bait well? I have a kodiak bait tank, that I might use, but just wondering what you guys are doing? Im debating on what to do, they gave me an option to plumb my transom fish box into a live well. Anyones done this?

I have a Hewes and would use the Kodiak tank if it were me. My rear fishbox does a lot of sloshing when underway. I think it would shock the bait and your mortality rate would be high.

I plumbed my rear NW Jet fishbox so I could use it as a livewell. It cost me about $100 (including pipe/fittings, pump, and timer) and an afternoon's time. I added a couple extra ball valves so I could recirculate. It works great and keeps bait healthy. Sloshing on the water has never been a problem. I do loose about 25% of the water due to sloshing on the trailer though. If anything the bait seams to enjoy the added aeration of the sloshing.

I have a Kodiak tank mounted on the swim step of my NR O/S. It is plumbed into its own pump and draws water from the same source as the wash down.
I have twin motors and an oval tank. I can not raise the starboard motor with the tank installed. I would use a round tank if I were to do it over. I don't think the back fish box would make a very good live bait tank. The fish like round corners. And usually those boxes are not very big.

I use a transom bait bag. Mounts to brackets at the top of the transom.
