Default Bass in Hagg Lake

Has any one gone to Hagg this year. I have been wondering if I should head over this week and fish the dam. Any advise on what might be the trick to gettin fish.

Spend many hours of time fishing. Throw everything in your tackle box at them. Remember what works, and what didn't. Oh, did I mention spend some time fishing?

I m in the same boat. People tell me largies are kinda rare in hagg and that's all I've ever caught. I did lose a huge smallie once though. I fish a lot in the sain creek arm.

Fished there for the first time this year and the 3rd time ever 2 weekends ago and pulled out two 3lb largemouth and a dink smallie. fished very slow and deep. warmest spot graphed during the time being there was 48.2. Got there at noon as well. Waiting for this weekend to pass then gonna try it again with some warmer water. should be able to get a limit next time + some. Hopefully some bigger fish too.

very much agree with r/b trout colors as I have had 2 r/b trout stolen (plus my spinners) by some LMs right in front of me over the past 2 years.

I usually drop shot a robo worm close to the bank or in the lakes arms. I have also caught some using a rattle trap along the dam.

You did get a limit. Its only 1 bass a day at hagg.

I was just referring to a tourney size limit of 5 fish. All my bass are c&r. I fished some tournies down in Cali and guess Im just used to saying I caught a limit.
