Default 175 black max help.

I have mid 90's merc 175. It runs great when warmed up but has a problem starting time to time. It cannot be the starter because I just put in a new one. I also removed the oil injector and when I was looking through the motor I found a good amount of oil in the carbs that has dripped down from the oil tank that has been removed, can this cause it not to start? Or is it some electrical issue? Like I said when it is started it runs awsome.

Check the wiring on your electric choke switch for corrosion ...
