wife and i went out today around 10:30. battled the elements but picked up a few more nice bows. 17" range. missed 3 more good bites and had another break me off. only fished for 3 hours then retreated home. havent been skunked in the last 4 trips, always multiple fish. great day but a little cold
i would deff. say boat. bank fishing isnt very productive in this region this time of the year. fish are more towards center of the lake and deeper.
Kind of what I figured. Buddy went for a quick trip so he didn't bring a boat. Said it was slow, but the rat shooting was crazy good. Guess how he spent most of his time ?
the boat is not running, so all trips have been off the bank. by the dam and up by the old restaurant. all bites have been close to shore, nothing out deep. have the right bait, and you will catch fish

thats what im starting to do. trying to find a bird for my wife this year. she really wants to go but i don know where to start looking over here. might have to go buy a butterball and let her blast it
